Obituary

Webster: John H. Curran, Jr., 56, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after an illness. He leaves a son Jonathan Curran and his significant other Valentina Ramos , with whom he lived, of Webster, 2 daughters- Kristy Dighton and her fiance Michael Richford of Millbury, and Melissa and her husband Gregory Devlin of Charlton; his father John H. Curran Sr. of Sturbridge. 6 grandchildren- Damien, Alex, Ceyla, Tyler, Kendra, and Sophia; A brother Richard Curran of Worcester; 3 sisters- Cheryl and her husband David Leeman of VA, Deborah Curran of Sturbridge, and Linda and her husband Brian Garceau of Southbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

John was born in Worcester, son of the late Louise (Vinton) Curran and John Curran Sr. He worked as an auto mechanic for Standard Auto Parts for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, waterskiing, going to the beach, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Memorial calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 3-4:30 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln Street Worcester, MA 01605. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
