John A. Blundell, Sr., 58, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 12, 2012, at home. He is survived by a son, John A. Blundell, Jr, of Worcester; two daughters, Erin L. Blundell of Worcester, and Carol Ann Mullaly of Millville; his sister, Roxann T. Banks of N. Brookfield; a niece, Lisa M. Clark of Brimfield; three grandsons; four granddaughters; and many other loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his fiance, Elaine J. Skalin, and his parents, Frederick K. and Margaret (Cavanaugh) Blundell.
John was a graduate of Burncoat Senior High School, Worcester. He worked over 20 years in the plastics, film, and coating industry for companies such as Furon and Saint Gobain. John had a love for the ocean and fishing and a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons. He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and very much enjoyed the outdoors and his family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Greendale People's Church, 25 Francis St., Worcester, MA 01606. Burial of cremated remains at sea will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greendale People's Church.
