Obituary

New Bedford, MA - John S. Anderson, 45, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Worcester and is survived by his parents Beverly Anderson of Millbury, MA and James D. Anderson of AZ; a brother and sister-in-law James E. and Deborah Anderson of NC; and 3 nieces. He was predeceased by a sister Karen E. Harris in 2005 and his grandmother Elsie G. Anderson in 2011.

He was the mooring manager at the New Bedford Harbor. John enjoyed fishing and boating and recently earned his Captain's license.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday afternoon, March 7, at the Seaman's Bethel in New Bedford.
