Obituary

Worcester: Joanne B. (Morin) Sexton, 64, passed away on April 5, 2023 in Hermitage Healthcare. She leaves 8 children including Michele Anne Morin, James Vincent Morin, John Paul Morin, and Lucymay (Morin) Gaston, Amanda Lynne Sexton, Steffi Marie Anne Evelyn Patterson, Kimberly Janey (Sexton) Richard, and Emily Cuff; many grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a sister- Susan Beauregard of Jefferson MA; 6 brothers-Richard Morin of Auburn MA, William Morin Jr. of Worcester MA, Joseph Morin of Clermont NH, Patrick Morin of Lancaster MA, Vincent Morin of Kissimmee FL, and James Morin of Boxboro MA; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 children, a brother and 2 sisters.

Joanne was born in Northbridge, daughter of the late William Morin Sr. and Pauline (Hetu) Morin. She graduated from High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. She dedicated her life to raising her family. She enjoyed sewing. She was very proud of her Native American heritage and was a member of the Sioux Tribe.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln Street Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent. For directions or to leave an online condolence message, please click guestbook link.
