Obituary

Holden/Worcester: Joanne E. (Johnson) Arsenault, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Christopher House of Worcester. She leaves her husband of 69 years Lionel T. Arsenault; 3 sons- Kenneth, Steven, and Robert Arsenault; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Ronald Johnson and by a sister Ellen Grigas.

Joanne was born in Leicester, daughter of the late Arthur and Sylvia (Harju) Johnson. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a clerk for a local bank. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holden and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
