Obituary

West Boylston: JoAnn P. (Carlstrom) DeWolfe, 89, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She leaves a son Robert DeWolfe and his wife Patricia of FL; a daughter- Jody Parker of Eastham; 3 grandchildren- Jill Cabral Schinn and her husband Craig, Michelle Snipes, and Michael Parker and his wife Sarah Nagle Parker; 2 great-grandchildren- Darren and Mallory Snipes; a sister Loretta Harrison Twitchell; and many nieces and nephews, including Heidi (Harrison) Atherton. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert F. DeWolfe.

JoAnn was born in Stockholm, Maine, one of 13 children of the late Peter and Bessie (McGuire) Carlstrom. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a data entry operator for Worcester County National Bank for many years. She was a dedicated member of The First Assembly of God Church in Worcester and enjoyed knitting, baking, and spending time with her family.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at a later date.
