Obituary

Jo-Ann (Posson) Roy, 62, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005, in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen Ann and Scott Faucher, of Paxton; her mother, Mary (Ward) of Paxton her brother, Gary E. Posson, of E. Brookfield; and her granddaughter, Alexandra C. Faucher, of Paxton, whom she adored; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews & nieces and close friends, including Carol Elis.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest Posson. She was a graduate of South High School and worked for 25 years as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students at Becker College in Leicester. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Paxton. She was a 4-H leader and through the years, she owned and loved many horses, dogs, and cats. She also enjoyed quilting and time with her family.

Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Forge Work Farms or Sweet Pea Animal Shelter, both in Rutland.
