Obituary

Athol: Jennifer Anne (Cote) Harney, 43, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, June 25, 2016, in Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston. She leaves her daughter Stefeni Sharon Harney of North Grosvernodale, CT; brothers David F. Cote (Lisa), Joseph E. Cote; sisters Sharon K. Callahan (Jeffrey), Virginia Beach, VA, Mary E. Fink, Baltimore, MD; parents Karen F. (Carlson) and Alfred L. Cote, Baltimore, MD; nephews Matt, Jeremy, Joshua, Ethan, and Dax; nieces Crystal and Audrey; great-nieces Jazmin and Mildred; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; preceded in death by brother Alfred C. Cote.
Jennifer was born in Worcester and graduated from Leicester High School in 1990. She worked as a title clerk for the Worcester Registry of Deeds for many years. She enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool, snowmobiling, golf, and attempting crossword puzzles. She loved animals and was an avid Patriots fan. Summer was her favorite season, boating, going to the beach, and lounging by the pool.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the Jennifer Harney Memorial Fund has been set up for Jenn's daughter, Stefeni, to provide funds for education.
