Obituary

Jeannette (Roraback) Hildreth, 84, died Saturday, October 25, 2008, in the Odd Fellows Home. Her husband of 59 years, John C. Hildreth, died in 2007. She leaves two daughters, Jane Rantala and her husband Paul of Worcester and Paula Angi and her husband Anthony of Yorktown Heights, NY; a sister, Florence Read of Charlton; four grandchildren, Diana, Kate, and Tim Angi and Christine McKeon; and a great-granddaughter, Ariel E. McKeon. She was born in Westfield, daughter of Florence (Bishop) and George W. Roraback. She was a graduate of Westfield High School and Kathleen Dell Secretarial School, Boston. Jeannette worked for the Worcester City Clerk for 25 years until her retirement in 1992. She was an Advanced First Aid and CPR Instructor for the American Red Cross and American Heart Associations. She enjoyed arts & crafts and helping those in need by baking and cooking.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. in NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield at a later date. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel.
