Obituary

Worcester: Janice E. Benjamin, 78, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, in Christopher House, Worcester, Massachusetts. She was daughter of the late Arnold and Gladys (Swanson) Benjamin and sister of the late Barbara Benjamin. She leaves behind many beloved friends; including Jane Landgren of Falmouth, Maine and Betsy Taft of Springfield, Vermont.

Janice was born on June 23, 1937, in Sunderland, Vermont. She earned her Associates Degree from Becker College of Worcester, Massachusetts in 1958. She worked for many years as a nanny and then as an Administrator for Colony Retirement Homes. She enjoyed dancing, music and she had a love for cats.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 11:00am in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Nordgren Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, Massachusetts 02215.
