Obituary

Janet L. Fortier, 48, of Frederickson Ave. died on August 10, 2005 in UMASS/Memorial Healthcare—University Campus. She leaves her mother, Ethel (Johnson) Fortier, 2 sisters, Carolyn Schwarz and her husband Raymond of Brookline, NH and Elaine Frantz and her husband Floyd of Holden, a nephew Greggory Frantz and his wife Lea, and 2 grandnieces, Makayla and Natalie. Her father, Walter J. Fortier, predeceased her.

Janet was born in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat High School and Becker Junior College. She was a member of The Nordic Lodge, #611 and Zion Lutheran Church.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20th in Zion Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Ave., Worcester MA 01606 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street is handling arrangements.
