Obituary

Janet L. (Clark) Cooper, 58, of 104 Christine St., died Saturday, Aug. 9, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.

She leaves her husband of 37 years, Carlton E. Cooper; a son, Corey J. Cooper of Grafton; two daughters, Katie Dickinson of Worcester and Lisa Flanagan of Grafton; a sister, Wendy L. Sawyer of Sterling; a step brother, Charles M. Clark of Florida; two grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Raymond D. Clark, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Wendell E. and Dora L. (Schnare) Clark, and lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School.

Mrs. Cooper was head cashier and assistant manager at Big D Supermarkets for 15 years. She enjoyed music, line dancing, gardening and making crafts.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m Wednesday, Aug. 13, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be at the family's convenience. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
