Obituary

Worcester: James W. Gow, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at home. He leaves his daughter Amanda (Gow) Thompson, a son James W. Gow, Jr.; 6 grandchildren- Orlando Rodriguez, Samuel Thompson, Jonah Thompson, Jakob Thompson, John Thompson and Clara Thompson; siblings Kevin Gow, Rodney Gow, Sharron Darrah, and Cheryl Chartier; and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was born in Worcester, son of the late Rodney Gow, Sr. and Gwendolyn (Markt) Gow. He graduated from Burncoat Sr. High School and worked in the construction industry for many years. He was a member of St. John's Church and enjoyed fishing, playing golf and pool, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 1:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
