Obituary

Isabelle C. (Varaski) Leahy, 92, passed away peacefully with her sons at her side on Sunday, August 7, 2005, at Knollwood Nursing Home in West Boylston. Her husband, Joseph A. Leahy, Sr., died in 1993. She leaves 2 sons, John F. Leahy and Joseph A. Leahy, Jr., both of Worcester and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother, Mary McCarthy, Anne Karling, and John Varaski. The oldest of 4 children, she was born in Worcester, daughter of Simon and Ursala (Kristavicze) Varaski. Mrs. Leahy was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, 8/9 at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 8/10, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel with a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Joan of Arc, 570 Lincoln St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum.
