Obituary

Irene A Lawrence, 79, died peacefully, Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, after a severe stroke.

Irene, the only child of the late Frank and Helen (Dunn) Taylor, was a graduate of Hahnemann School of Nursing and a highly regarded ICU RN at Boston City and Worcester City hospitals.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Irene was married to Richard E. Lawrence, who died in 1984. She leaves 3 children, Richard E. Lawrence Jr. and wife Frann of Sudbury, Ma; David T. Lawrence and wife Jean of Abington, Ma; and daughter Nancy E. Hunter and husband Michael of Stratham, NH; 6 grandchildren-Will, Leah, Julie, Kevin, Joe, and Tim, and great- granddaughter, Zoe.

Irene was an active member at St. Michael's Church, President of the West Boylston Seniors, and member of the Bement Scholarship committee.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday Feb. 28 in St. Michael's-on-the-Height's Episcopal Church, 340 Burncoat Street, Worcester, MA. There are no calling hours.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the St. Michael's Endowment Fund.
