Obituary

Boylston-Ida M. (Fisher) Adams, 72, died Sunday, March 7, 2010. She leaves her husband of 51 years, Donald F. Adams; her son, George D. Adams and his wife Rebecca of Boylston; her daughter, Cheryl J. Morrill of Boylston; and 2 granddaughters, Bethany R. and Jessica A. Morrill.

Ida was a long-time member of The First Congregational Church of Boylston, where she was a deacon for many years. She sang in the choir for more than 40 years and loved spending time with her friends in the Ladies' Benevolent Society (LBS). She volunteered at St. Anne's Church in Shrewsbury, worked as a pharmacy tech at Memorial Hospital for many years, and was an avid golfer at Westborough Country Club.

Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Tuesday, March 9, from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Boylston, 10 Church Street on Wednesday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Boylston, 10 Church St., Boylston, MA 01505 or to the Boylston Firefighter's Assn., P.O. Box 32, Boylston, MA 01505.
