Obituary

Worcester—Hilve M. Erickson, 94, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, in the Christopher House. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Richard E. and Ellen M. (Anderson) Erickson. She was a graduate of Upton High School and Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. During World War II, 1st Lt. Hilve served in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps. She was a nurse at Memorial Hospital for 40 years, retiring in 1978 and was a life-time member of Belmont Street Baptist Church. She leaves 3 cousins: Ruth H. Gustafson of Holden, Dorothy L. Lindblad of Rye, NH, and Charlotte J. Loftstedt of Shrewsbury.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 18, at 10:00 a.m., in All Faiths Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Belmont Street Baptist Church, Memorial Fund, 25 Belmont St., Worcester, MA 01605.
