Obituary

Northborough—Hildegarde A. (Rolander) Caley, 77, formerly of Meadow Road, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, in the Coleman House. Her husband, John O. Caley, died in 2004. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Swanson; two sons, John Caley II and Stephan Caley; two grandchildren, Jennifer Caley Senecal and Steven Caley; and her life-long friend, Pat Cluff. She was predeceased by brothers, Paul Rolander and Jon Rolander.

Hildegarde was born in Worcester on January 1, 1930, daughter of Clarence T. and Ruth (Swenson) Rolander. She was a graduate of Boston-Bouvé College and a resident of Northborough for 45 years. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Worcester and the Childbirth Education Association. She was a physical therapist for many years until her retirement.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2007, at Epworth United Methodist Church, 64 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Burial was in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the church. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, is directing arrangements.
