Obituary

Herbert M. Soderman, 77, of Largo, FL, formerly of Shrewsbury and Cape Cod, died Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the East Bay Nursing Center, Largo, FL. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Alice M. (Saarinen) Soderman of Largo; 4 sons, Roy H. Soderman of Shrewsbury, Richard R. Soderman of Rutland, Robert M. Soderman of Rutland, and Russell R. Soderman of Jefferson; a brother, Richard R. Soderman; and 5 grandchildren. A son, Ronald C. Soderman, died on August 24, 1994. He was born in Worcester, son of K. Magnas and Fanny (Pott) Soderman. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked at New England High Carbon Wire, Johnson Wire & Steel, and retired from Wyman Gordon Co. in Grafton.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 30, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 7-9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
