Obituary

Worcester—Herbert A. Brewer, 83, died Sunday, January 9, 2005, at Holy Trinity Nursing Home. His wife, Beatrice T. (Martin) Brewer, died in 2001. He leaves a son, Herbert A. "Skip" Brewer and his wife, Terry, of Worcester; a daughter, Susan B. Goodrich and her husband, Douglas, of Leominster; a brother, Richard Brewer of Tennessee; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Patricia Ann St. Germain, died in 1997.

He was born in Worcester, son of Albert M. and Ruth (Turner) Brewer. He was a WWII Army veteran, serving in Europe. He was a foreman at New England Power Co. for 38 years and a union member Local 486 IBEW.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Weds., Jan. 12 at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
