Obituary

Worcester: Helen L. (Levin) Hill, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 24, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Robert T. Hill; a son Jonathan Hill; 2 daughters- Kristina Hill and Ingrid Hill; 5 grandchildren- Joshua, Samantha, Zachary, Nicholas, and Rhetta; a brother Ingmar Levin; a sister-in-law Edith Levin; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Roland Levin.

Helen was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Lorits and Hulda Anderson Levin. She graduated from Commerce High School and earned her Bachelors Degree in Education from Worcester State Teachers College. She worked for many years as a special education teacher in the Worcester School System. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and on many of its committees. She enjoyed singing, crocheting, baking, and helping those less fortunate.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church 73 Lancaster St. Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory may be made to Tatnuck Park Caregivers Fund for the people who took such good care of her the past three years.
