Obituary

Helen D. (Adams) Guertin, 97, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, in Philadelphia, PA. Her husband of 61 years, David E. Guertin, died in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Guertin, son-in-law Bruce Driscoll of Philadelphia and nieces and nephews. Helen was born in Sutton, daughter of Ursula (Wassel) and Michael Adams. She worked for many years as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. In 2006, Helen relocated to Philadelphia to be closer to her daughter.
Services will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester on Saturday, January 19, 2013. A period of visitation will be held at the church from 12:30-1 pm followed by the Mass at 1 pm. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, at a later date. Flowers may be sent.
