Obituary

Worcester: Hector J. Calvo, 72, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves behind a large extended family including his wife Ivelisse Arriaga; 2 sons- Juan Calvo and Hector Calvo; grandchildren- Joel Calvo, Adalia Calvo, and Juan Calvo Jr; and siblings including Nancy, George, and Hilda.

Hector was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, son of the late Juan Calvo and Maria Concepcion Lugo. He worked doing maintenance at Central Coating and Walmart and most recently as a bus monitor. When Hector wasn't doing his favorite thing, relaxing, he liked to work on cars or tinker around the house. He also enjoyed fishing, watching boxing, and helping people.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10 a.m.-12 noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605.
