Obituary

Worcester—Harry Markarian, Sr., 67, died Saturday, January 28, 2006, and now joins his father, Harry Markarian and beloved wife, Eileen M. (Sloniker) Markarian in the heavens above. He is survived by his children, Diana Markarian Grosse of Rutland, Harry Markarian, Jr., of CA, and Charles Markarian of Oakham; his mother, Veronica Karagosian; sisters, Debbie, Elaine, Joyce, & Helen; brothers, Nathaniel "Skippy" and Freddy; and 7 grandchildren. Harry was born and raised in Worcester. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He was a iron worker for many years and retired from Local 57 Ironworkers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2. Visiting hours will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, followed by burial at 1 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westboro. For directions and on-line guest book, please visit:
