Obituary

Harry Eknaian, 77, died Friday, June 8, 2007, in UMass Memorial, University Campus. His wife, Queenie (Markarian) Eknaian, died in 2001. He was born in Malatia, son of Hovagim and Marquohie Eknaian. Harry leaves a son Harry M. Eknaian and his wife Gayle of North Grafton, a sister, Hatun Akin, a brother Diran Eknaian; a granddaughter Abigayle; two step-grandsons, Andre and Anthony; and nephews & nieces. A sister, Mariam Eracar died in 2005. Harry was a machine operator for Norton Co. for 27 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church, the church's Men's Club and The Knights of Vartan.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 11, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday June 10 4-7 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. A Dahngark Service will be held at 6:30.
