Obituary

Worcester: Harold O. Evans, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 58 years, Barbara H. (Glazebrook) Evans predeceased him in 2013. He leaves five sons and two daughters- Blake (Debbie) Glazebrook, B. Roxanne Evans, Quinn (Kathy) Evans, Michael Evans, Dale Evans, Michele (Blaine) Loughead, and Brian (Dawn) Evans; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 siblings.

Harold was born in Queensland, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of the late George and Maebel (Hurshman) Evans. He worked in the maintenance department for Charles River Laboratories in Shrewsbury for many years. He enjoyed cars, home improvement projects, and woodworking. He was affectionately known as a Jack of all trades but the master of none.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon, followed by a funeral at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery.
