Obituary

Haigoohi (Papazian) Manuelian, 89, of 1 Berkshire St., died Monday, June 6, 2005, at UMass Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Sarkis Manuelian. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, George and Joanne Manuelian of Lowell; 2 grandchildren, Michael and Karen; 2 nieces, Rosemary Sahagian and Margaret Hagopian; 3 nephews, Stephen Papazian, Gregory Papazian, and Ross Ajamian; and several grandnieces and grandnephews; 3 sisters-in-law, Julia Papazian, Elizabeth Ajamian, and Lucille Manuelian; 1 brother-in-law, Dr. John Manuelian.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Hagop and Satenig (Mahakian) Papazian. She graduated from North High School. She was a member of the Armenian Church of the Martyrs and its Friendly Circle.

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Armenian Church of the Martyrs. Burial will be in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree. Calling hours will be held Thursday, from 7-9 in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Armenian Church of the Martyrs, 20 Ormond Street, Worcester MA 01609.
