Obituary

Gretel P. (Oberg) Williamson, 84, of 580 Chandler Street, Worcester died Friday, November 7, in her home.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late John and Fannie (Hannus) Oberg. She leaves a daughter, Sally A. Williamson-Card; a grandson, Derrick Card; and a granddaughter, Marissa Card;and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a close friend, Leland Adams. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1986 and her brother, Birger, in 1974.

Mrs. Williamson graduated from Commerce High School in 1937. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Anna Circle. She was a longtime volunteer at the former Fairlawn Hospital and The American Red Cross. She enjoyed skiing, golfing, and gardening.

Memorial Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Rememberance Fund or a charity of the donors choice.
