Obituary

Worcester—Gladys M. (Glasberg) Christensen, 77, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. She was born in Auburn, MA, daughter of Carl W. and Mary (Goodney) Glasberg. Gladys was a bookkeeper at Martin Wallcovering Co. for 25 years. After retiring, she was employed by Certified Nursing of Worcester as a home health aide coordinator. Gladys will always be known for her razor sharp wit, her dignity, her courage, and kindness and compassion towards others. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanna R. and Peter Markham of Kingston, NH, her son and his wife, Carl R. and Nancy Christensen of Holden, MA, her granddaughters Kelly and Erin Christensen, her brother, Carl Glasberg of Norfolk, VA, and many nieces & nephews. Two sons, Robert "Tuffy" Christensen and Andrew M. Christensen, and her brother Donald Glasberg predeceased her. Funeral services under the direction of Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street will be private. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
