Worcester: Gilbert A.A. Hendrickson, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at The Jewish Healthcare Center. He leaves a sister June Hendrickson, his brothers, Paul Fadden, Glen Feschur, John Powers and Rodney Brewer, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gil was born in Worcester, son of the late Gilbert A.A. Hendrickson, Sr. and Princess Winona (Harmon) Hendrickson Baroni. He attended North High School. Gil was a member of more than one branch of service, most importantly his time with the Army National Guard, when he had time in Germany which brought many memories. Later he worked at variety of different jobs to include at Crompton and Knowles Company for many years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, The Matthew John Whittall Masonic Lodge, the Tomahawks Motorcycle Club of Worcester and The Worcester Intertribal Indian Center, as well as other Native American groups. He enjoyed going to pow wows, seeing friends and enjoying the singing and dancing.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 10-11 a.m.in the chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church 73 Lancaster St. Worcester, MA 01609. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Trinity. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery, Sutton. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family wishes to thank the Jewish Healthcare Center and its Hospice for the care they gave to him in his final years.
