Obituary

Gianoula (Koronis) Bahaviolos, 86, of Roxbury Street died Sunday, November 9th, in Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Her husband of 50 years, Demetrios Bahaviolos, died in 2000.

She leaves a daughter, Katherine Ganias, of Worcester; 3 sisters Antonia Apostolakos of Greece, Catherine Wheatley and Mary Madeiros both of Ayer, MA, and 3 grandchildren.

She was born in Parori, Sparta, Greece, a daughter of Panagioti and Panagiota (Lambrinos) Koronis and lived in Worcester for 5 years. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. The funeral was held on Wednesday, Nov. 12th in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St. Burial in Hope Cemetery.
