Obituary

Worcester - Geraldine Brooks (Howell) Fair, 93, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at UMass Memorial Hospital. A loving mother, she leaves three sons, Donald E. and his wife Marjorie Fair of Worcester; Robert G. and his wife Linda Fair of Sterling; Raymond R. and his wife Ella Fair of Gardner; a daughter Elizabeth L. Chadwick of Worcester; and a daughter-in-law, Janet D. Fair of Holden; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Albert B. Fair, a son-in-law, Edward D. Chadwick, and a brother, Richard Howell.

Geraldine was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Arthur W. and Helena (Gibson) Howell. She worked for 19 years as a nurse's aide in the Pediatric Unit, Memorial Hospital, Belmont St . She was an active member of the Burncoat Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she carried on a fruitful and productive ministry for over 50 years.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses , 659 Franklin St., Worcester MA 01604, Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burncoat Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses , P.O. Box 2782 , Worcester, MA 01613.
