Obituary

Gail S. (Carlson) Saltis, 58, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at UMass Memorial Healthcare University Campus. She leaves her husband of 18 years, Lester L. Saltis; a brother, Gary Carlson of Virginia; a sister, Nancy Williams of Florida; 2 step-daughters, Nanette and Susan; cousins; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Wilbur and Ingeborg (Lindstrom) Carlson. She graduated from North High School, Worcester Junior College, and Clark University. Gail was a medical technologist at Worcester City Hospital, Fairlawn Hospital, and UMass Memorial Med Center. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Avenue, Worcester MA 01606 or to the Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA 01603.
