Obituary

G. Wallace Chellberg of Shrewsbury died Sunday, September 28, 2003, in Knollwood Nursing Home. His wife, Greta I. (Eklund) Chellberg, died in 1999.

He leaves a daughter, Shirley A. Walker of Rockford, Illinois, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of John A. and Victoria (Mothander) Chellberg. Mr. Chellberg was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Worcester. He worked at Norton Company as a molder for 25 years and retired from Phalo Wire & Cable in Shrewsbury after 12 years.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 2, in the Chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester, MA 01609. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, is directing arrangements.
