Obituary

Auburn: Frederick C. Kimball, 100, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 77 years, Arline (Holdsworth) Kimball; 2 sons- Harvey and Herbert; 2 daughters- Diane and Susan; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Douglas and siblings Shirley, Herbert, Frank and Willard.

Fred was born in Worcester, son of the late Frederick Clark and Nettie (Bellows) Kimball. He proudly served his country in WWII in the US Navy and worked as a machinist at Rex Nord Company for many years. He was a member of Chestnut St. Congregational Church in Worcester and enjoyed camping and old cars.

Following cremation, burial will be held in Rural Cemetery on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. There are no calling hours. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. To leave an online condolence message, please click guestbook link.
