Obituary

Worcester—Frank V. Saulenas, 89, died Monday, March 3, 2008. His wife, Mary M. (Alikonis) Saulenas, died in 2004. He leaves 2 daughters, Carolyn Anderson of Bergenfield, NJ and Judith Atwater of San Diego, CA; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Ann Marie Bertsch, died in 1993. Frank was born in Brockton, son of Francis and Victoria (Sabaityte) Saulenas. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was an electrician and once served as head of the Electrician's Union. He enjoyed working with his hands in stone and masonry projects.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, with a calling hour from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Bernard's Church, 228 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
