Worcester: Frank T. Pajka, 84, fell asleep in Christ on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Hospital. He is predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Elaine (Bratchell) Pajka, a sister Stasia Valenti and a brother-in-law Olin S. Rogers. He leaves a sister-in-law, Marilyn Rogers, a brother-in-law- James Valenti and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frank was born on January 19, 1933 in Worcester, son of the late Walter and Mary Pajka. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and over the years held numerous jobs including New England Tel & Tel and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, from which he retired. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed spending time outdoors, and believed that nature should be protected and saved for future generations. He was a faithful member of the Worcester Ecclesia of Christadelphians. Frank was a kind, caring, and loving man who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
There are no calling hours. Frank will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, awaiting Christ's return and resurrection, with a graveside ceremony at 11:30 a.m. in Hope Cemetery 119 Webster St. on Friday, June 9, 2017. Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
