Obituary

Worcester: Everton "Luke" Taylor, 52, passed away peacefully in Millbury Healthcare after a long illness. He leaves his beloved wife of 18 years, Deborah N. (Reid) Taylor; 2 sons- Everton Luke Taylor, Jr. and Xavier Luke Taylor; a daughter Lamoya Stacey Ann Taylor; siblings- Beverly Simpson, Byron Guy, Sandra Taylor, Yvette Taylor, Lester Taylor, Donald Taylor, Denise Taylor, Lorna Taylor, and Wayne Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Devon Taylor.

Luke was born in Jamaica, son of the late Leslie and Sylvia (Laing) Taylor. He graduated from High school and worked as a machine operator at General Electric Co. for many years. He enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and spending quality time with his family. He was also an avid sports fan.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
