Obituary

Evelyn V. (Johnson) Davis, 89, died Sunday, December 31, 2006, in Overlook Masonic Nursing Home. She had resided in Charlton since 1942. Her husband, Raymond A. Davis, died in 1961. Evelyn leaves a daughter, Linda and her husband George Healy of Charlton, a son Robert P and his wife Barbara of Springfield, 4 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Evelyn was born in Worcester daughter of Walfred and Signe (Jardelund) Johnson. She worked for many years in the Charlton Elementary School Cafeteria and also worked at Old Sturbridge Village.
Evelyn was a member of The United Methodist Church of Charlton and the Charlton Senior Center where she enjoyed many activities and trips.


Funeral Services will be held Thursday 10:00 am in the United Methodist Church of Charlton. Burial will be in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.
