Obituary

Worcester: Evelyn M. (Derusha) Gabis, 91, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. She leaves 3 daughters Linda Frustaci, Carol Condo, Cathy Carlson; 3 sons- Lance Gabis, Keith Gabis, and Todd Gabis; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister Marion Boisjolie, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Gabis, a sister Geraldine, and brothers Earle, Edward, and Edwin, and Kenneth Condo.

Evelyn was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Loren and Clara (Jenkins Shastany) Derusha. She worked as a housekeeper over the years, was a member of St. Paul's Cathedral, and enjoyed drawing and doing crossword puzzles.
