It is with deep love and sadness we announce that Evelyn (Jacobsen)Bohlin of West Boylston, MA peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2026, at the age of 100. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph H. Bohlin, with whom she shared many happy years before his passing 37 years ago.

Born in Worcester, MA on December 25,1925, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Christine (Paulsen) Jacobsen. She was predeceased by brother, Andrew Jacobsen and sisters, Marie Clark and Mildred Jacobsen.

She attended Commerce High School and worked as a secretary at Norton Company, where she was known for her professionalism and dedication, before committing the rest of her life to raising and nurturing her growing family.

She leaves behind her sons, Ronald K. (Christine) Bohlin, of Gilford, N.H., Kenneth B. Bohlin of Bonita Springs, FL (Pamela Drouin, partner); daughters, Nancy Jean (David) Leroy of West Boylston, MA and Pamela A. (Patrick) Eannotti of Ansonia, CT. She was cherished “Nana” and the epitome of a grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was always calm, kind, and deeply devoted to her family, which was the center of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to celebrate life’s special moments with them all. Many of those cherished memories were made at the family’s home at Lake Winnisquam NH, where countless days were spent playing cribbage, picking blueberries, sharing meals, watching sunsets and simply enjoying one another’s company. The traditions she and her late husband created there will continue to bring her family together for generations to come.

Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staffs at JHC Hospice, Knollwood Nursing Center and the entire Briarwood Community for the exceptional care, kindness and support they have provided to Evelyn and her family over the past eight and a half years.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester, MA.
