Worcester: Evan L. Foley, 42, passed away on January 14 at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Worcester after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Dorothy and Edward Foley. He is survived by his loving partner and fiancée of 16 years, Angela L. Dawson, her daughter DeAndra, her parents Lori and Ken Dawson, his father Sylvester Baines, and his mother Dorothy Foley. He also leaves behind 11 brothers and sisters including Christopher, his wife Heather and their daughter Cayleigh, Sylvester, his wife Donna and their children Sylvester and George, Justin, Sara and her daughter Tatianna, and Chelsea and her husband Devin. Additional siblings include Chanté, Tishera, Tyrone Jr., Miles, Mathew, and Chanel. Evan was born in and spent his life in the Worcester area.
Evan was a long-time employee of Service Master where he worked for many years and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic, and more recently was employed by the International Golf Club and Resort, a job which he loved dearly. He was an avid fan of New England sports teams, loved to play poker and spend time with friends, and will be remembered as a caring partner, stepfather, big brother, and loyal friend who could always be counted on for sound advice or to lend a helping hand.
His friends and family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Saint Vincent's Hospital who made his stay comfortable, and cared compassionately for him and his loved ones during a difficult time.
In keeping with Evan's wishes, remembrance will be private with no formal memorial service.
