Obituary

Worcester—Eugenia (Necsanu) Alenak, 86, died Friday, January 27, 2006, at Autumn Village. Her husband, Armenak Alenak, died in 1973. She was born in Romania, daughter of Gheorghe and Maria Necsanu. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sergiu and Simona Alenak; a grandson, Armand; a granddaughter, Michelle; and a niece, Eliza Suvajian and her family of Providence. She was a member of St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Relief Society, Worcester Knar Chapter. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 30, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church, 34 Gold Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday.
