Obituary

Boylston, Massachusetts: Ethel Marion (Johnson) Lund, 95, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Beaumont of Northborough. Ethel was born in Boylston, daughter of Charles H. and Elizabeth (Heebner) Johnson. She is survived by two children, Karen Lund Prince and James D. Lund and their spouses; two grandchildren, David R. Prince and Susan E. Prince and their spouses; and four great-grandsons. She was predeceased by husbands, C. Winston Lund and David Lund. Ethel was a member of First Congregational Church of Boylston. She owned and operated a private nursery school in Boylston and was a reading teacher. Ethel enjoyed spending time with children, knitting, the Red Sox, and gardening. The family thanks all the wonderful people who provided such compassionate care to Ethel.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Boylston, 10 Church St., Boylston MA 01505, American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, or the Salmon Hospice Care 42 Beaumont Dr. Northbridge, MA 01534.
