Obituary

Shrewsbury—Ethel Viola (Anderson) Moback, 99, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, at The Christopher House of Worcester. She was born in Worcester on February 8, 1908, daughter of Eric Anderson and Elizabeth Edoff. Her husband, Harry E. Moback, died in 1968. She leaves a sister, Elsie Anderson of Millbury; a brother, Robert Anderson and his wife Doris of Shrewsbury; a sister-in-law, Gerdaline Anderson of Bow, NH; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. Ethel was a former member of the Scandinavian Athletic Club and was a volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Drives. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed working in her flower garden.

A graveside funeral service will be held in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury, on Thursday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Dan Wilfred officiating. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester MA 01605, is directing arrangements. For on-line condolences, please click below.
