Obituary

Esther M. (Widing) Berggren, 88, of 697 Burncoat St. died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, in the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband of many years, Paul H. Berggren, died in 1999. She leaves 2 daughters, Linda M. Bergman and Diane L. Murray; 5 grandchildren, Ryan E. Murray, Ross A. Murray, Seth P. Murray, Deborah M. McMaster, and Kristin L. White; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN, daughter of Gustaf and Charlotte (Johnson) Widing. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and worked in the Installment Loan Dept. of the former Guaranty Bank & Trust Co. Esther was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, member of the women's group, and head of the Altar Guild. She was member of the Stella Chapter O.E.S.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tues., Feb. 15, at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
