Obituary

Esther H. (Erickson) Semon, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 34 years, George A. Semon, died in 1973. She leaves her daughter, Sandra S. Pike and son-in-law and pal, Jack Pike of Worcester; 2 brothers, Robert and his wife Lucy Erickson of Worcester and Roger and his wife Geisla Erickson of North Carolina; 4 sisters, Helen Hayward of Millbury, Doris and her husband Norman Danielson of Florida, Mildred and her husband, Joseph Ricchiazzi of Barre, and Nancy and her husband, Nicholas Ritacco of Worcester; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn E. Semon of Rutland; and many special nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, and great-grandnieces. Her son, Roy G. Semon, died in 1999. Five brothers, Stanley, Henry, Kenneth, Warren, and Harold and 3 sisters, Ruth Aubin, Virginia Abasciano, and Dorothy Erickson all predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of A. Eric and Hilma (Johanson) Erickson. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed knitting and baking.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 11:30 a.m. in the Nave of Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Calling hours will be Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 5-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. Please omit flowers.
