Obituary

Worcester—Eric G. Ottoson, 88, of Briarwood Circle, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in St. Vincent Hospital at the Worcester Medical Center. He leaves his former wife, Jane (Allen) Ottoson; two sons, Stephen J. Ottoson of Shrewsbury and Allen E. Ottoson of Boston; a sister, Ruth Abrahamson of Texas; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister predeceased him.

Eric was born in Worcester, son of John and Sophia (Franzen) Ottoson. He graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Junior College. Mr. Ottoson was a self-employed manufacturer's representative for many paper companies, retiring at the age of 86.

The funeral service will be private. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dialysis Unit at Worcester Medical Center, 20 Worcester Center Blvd. Worcester, MA 01608. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St is directing arrangements.
