Obituary

Paxton - Elvira E. (Johnson) Lindberg, 90, formerly of Paxton and Tatnuck Park, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012, at St. Mary Healthcare Center of Worcester. Her husband of 70 years, Carl E. Lindberg, predeceased her in 2010.

She was born in Worcester and was a graduate of Commerce High. Elvira worked for 25 years at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, and she was a former member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Shrewsbury.

A graveside funeral service will be held at All Faiths Cemetery, 9 Island Road, Worcester, at 10 am on Wed., Jan. 18, 2012. There are no calling hours. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
