Obituary

WORCESTER— Elma Osterlund, 88, formerly of Huron Ave. passed away on Friday, March 10, 2006 in The Lutheran Home.

Elma leaves her sister-in-law Irene (Puro) Osterlund and several cousins in Finland and Washington State. Her brother, Ero J. Osterlund, passed away in 2005.

Elma was born in Worcester, daughter of Niilo and Sopia (Wionpaa) Osterlund and graduated from Commerce High School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Esther Circle. She loved to sew.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14th at 12:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Ave, Worcester. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery. There are no Calling Hours. Contributions in Lieu of flowers may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or the Activity Fund of The Lutheran Home, 26 Harvard Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
